We’re recruiting a Senior Transport Planner to help lead a busy planning function and become the operational right hand to the Operations Director.
This role would suit someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to influence how a team performs and develops.
Plant industry experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
The Role:
• Lead and support a team of Transport Planners
• Oversee day-to-day driver and delivery scheduling
• Improve planning processes and operational performance
• Act as escalation point for operational issues
• Support strategic planning alongside the Operations Director
• Drive efficiency across a large equipment operation
What we’re looking for:
• Previous transport/planning/scheduling experience
• Leadership capability or desire to step into leadership
• Commercial and operational awareness
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Calm approach under pressure
Package:
• £40,000–£45,000+ depending on experience
• Monday–Friday
• Minimal out of hours requirements (paid if required)
