Domestic Gas Engineer

We’re working with a well-established electrical & mechanical services contractor looking to recruit an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join their team.
This role offers varied work, autonomy, and the opportunity to take real ownership of jobs from start to finish.
The Role
- Domestic gas servicing, safety checks and boiler installations
- Fault-finding, breakdowns and repairs
- Full job lifecycle: first & second fix through to completion
- Working across estate agent portfolios, insurance work and private refurb projects
- Pricing jobs (materials + labour) and submitting quotes
- Managing your own schedule, emails and workload
What They’re Looking For
- ACS Gas Qualified (essential)
- Proven domestic experience with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable quoting work and managing jobs end-to-end
- Organised and proactive. Able to reduce reliance on office support
- LPG and/or Oil experience (desirable – training available)
Best suited to a more experienced engineer who can take ownership, not a trainee or someone needing a lot of close supervision.
Package
- £21–£25 per hour (depending on experience & responsibility)
- Company van (take home) + fuel card
- Uniform & materials provided
- 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- No call-out rota
- Reasonable personal use of van
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday
- 08:00 – 16:45 (15-min break + 30-min lunch)

- Candidates should be based within reasonable distance of North Wales
- Mixture of local and regional work – varied workload across multiple sites
- Engineers have autonomy to manage their own day and workload
