Farm Workers
Denbigh
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading primary turkey breeding company, with farms and hatcheries across the UK. Our client is looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join their team in Denbigh.
Must be able to drive as the site has no public transport links
The Role
- Working hours:
06:30 – 15:30
, Monday to Friday - Weekend work required: one day per week, egg collection only (paid at overtime rate)
- Daily duties include:
- Collecting eggs
- Supporting artificial insemination processes (initially assisting with bird handling, approx. 14kg)
- General farm tasks as required
This is a physically demanding role, involving regular handling of livestock. Full training and induction will be provided.
Requirements
- Ability to carry out physical work, including handling turkeys
- Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis
- Successful candidates must pass pre-employment screening through HR, including criminal history and animal rights association checks
- Must be able to drive as the site has no public transport links
