Conwy Town Council is looking for an Environmental Warden to play a key role in maintaining and improving the appearance of the local community.
This is a hands-on, visible role where you’ll help create a cleaner, safer and more welcoming environment for residents and visitors across Conwy. If you enjoy being outdoors, take pride in your work and want to make a genuine difference in your local area, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
You’ll work across the Conwy Town Council wards carrying out a variety of environmental and maintenance activities, helping ensure the town remains clean, attractive and well cared for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Street cleansing and litter management
- Weed control and seasonal environmental maintenance
- Graffiti and fly-posting removal
- Maintaining community noticeboards and litter bins
- Painting and maintaining local street furniture and planters
- Monitoring public assets including defibrillators
- Reporting issues such as fly tipping, vandalism and damaged infrastructure
- Acting as a visible community presence and point of contact for residents
- Completing weekly reports on area conditions and completed works
