We’re recruiting an experienced Project Planner to support the delivery of a major demolition and deconstruction project in Trawsfynydd.

You’ll take responsibility for producing, updating and monitoring the programme of works, working closely with the project team, client and other stakeholders to ensure the project remains accurately planned and reported.

This is a long-term opportunity to work on a large, complex project within a highly regulated environment.

The role

  • Develop detailed project programmes from first principles.
  • Produce, update and monitor NEC4-compliant programmes.
  • Create and maintain accurate project schedules throughout the contract.
  • Monitor progress against the programme and identify potential delays or risks.
  • Apply planning techniques including three-point time estimates, time-risk allowances and risk-adjusted programming.
  • Collect and validate progress information from the project team.
  • Produce regular progress reports and programme updates.
  • Support the project team with planning, sequencing and programming matters.
  • Attend meetings with the project team, client and third-party stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate planning records and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide clear programme information to support project decisions.

What we’re looking for

  • A construction-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong experience planning complex construction, demolition or deconstruction projects.
  • Experience producing and maintaining NEC4-compliant programmes.
  • The ability to develop detailed programmes from first principles.
  • Good knowledge of critical paths, project risk and programme performance.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard planning software, including Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong reporting, communication and organisational skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The ability to obtain the required site-level security clearance.

Experience working within the nuclear sector or another highly regulated environment would be highly advantageous.

MCIOB status, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification, would also be desirable.
