Transport Planner
Caerwys, North Wales (A55 Corridor)
£35,000–£40,000 + Overtime + Progression
Full Time | Permanent
We’re supporting a growing operation in North Wales to recruit a Transport Planner to join an established team of four.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working at pace and being at the centre of keeping operations moving. Previous transport planning experience is ideal, but attitude, organisation and willingness to learn are just as important.
The business manages the movement and scheduling of a large fleet operation with around 10,000 pieces of equipment in circulation, so no two days are the same.
The Role:
• Daily planning and scheduling of drivers and deliveries
• Coordinating routes and reacting to changing priorities
• Working closely with operations to maintain service levels
• Managing schedules and ensuring efficient resource allocation
• Supporting the wider planning team with day-to-day operations
What we’re looking for:
• Organised and calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable making decisions and solving problems
• Experience in transport, logistics, planning or scheduling beneficial
• Motivated to learn and develop
Package:
• £35,000–£40,000 salary
• Monday–Friday working
• Saturday rota (work from home) paid at time and a half
• Training and development available
• Genuine progression opportunities
Immediate starts available, but happy to wait for the right person.
